Contest and Giveaway Rules

Contest/Giveaway Winners:

The winner will be selected using one of the following methods or tools:

A random generator through ‘And the Winner Is’ WordPress Plugin, Rafflecopter, Random.org or GiveawayTools or PromoSimple, and will be specifically stated or shown in each giveaway to which method is being used. If not, the default will be Random.org, with the first comment being considered #1, and so forth, until the last comment. The winner will be notified no later than one week after the contest end date described in the post. It is in the sole discretion of Metrowest Mamas to repost the contest if less than 10 people enter. If the winner is unable to be contacted within forty-eight hours, another winner will be chosen and so forth.
 

Contest/Giveaway Rules:

Sample language for giveaway entries is as follows. It will be linked to on each post or entry form until the end date of the giveaway in which case the giveaway language could be removed, but can be reviewed here at all times. For Rafflecopter, PromoSimple, or other giveaway entries, disclosure language is the same, but will be stored via the external giveaway platform or app.

  • Any Contest or Giveaway on this site is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States including the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The entry period for the Contest or Giveaway begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ends at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time (ET) on the date provided in the respective post, unless otherwise indicated.
     
  • If a method of entry is via comment, it will first be validated. If validated, it will be approved. Only approved comments will be eligible for the contests and giveaways and is subject to the sole discretion of Metrowest Mamas. Include your name and email in the appropriate fields so Metrowest Mamas can contact you if you win. (Including just first name or first name + last initial is OK!). For your safety, please do not put your email in the actual comment. Anonymous or SPAM-like comments will be discarded. Your entry information will not be shared with any third party.
     
  • One lucky winner will receive the prize pack shown above. No substitutions and the winner will be notified directly via e-mail who has roughly 48 hours to respond and claim their prize. They then will be listed back at this post using first name only.
     
  • A minimum of 10 people must enter in order for the Giveaway to occur. Winner must comply with all rules mentioned here, or a new winner will be selected. Metrowest Mamas has the final decision on the winner and is not responsible for wrong email addresses or notification being tagged as spam. Prize will be fulfilled by a Third Party and any issues with prize fulfillment shall be directed to said Third Party and Metrowest Mamas is not responsible for said prize fulfillment. If Metrowest Mamas mails out a prize (or the equivalent), all packages will be sent with tracking. If the package shows it is delivered, Metrowest Mamas has no additional liability or responsibility. By participating and/or accepting the prize, Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and to accept decisions of Metrowest Mamas as final in all matters relating to the respective Contest or Giveaway.
     
  • Google+, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and any other social media website or platform is never affiliated with any giveaway or contest on this site.
     

Contest/Giveaway Winners via Pinterest Multiple Entry:

If a Pinterest related contest is hosted here, it will be ultimately based on creativity, originality and/or merit, unless only follow-based. The contest will be managed via Rafflecopter or Giveaway Tools or a like website or program. The Pinterest Board entry will be reviewed and if it is not original and/or creative, another contestant will be selected, and so on. If the contestant is selected based on another entry other than a Pinterest Board entry (such as a follow or a tweet), they will be backtracked to their mandatory Pinterest Board entry using Rafflecopter’s (or other like sites’) “moderate entries” function. This enables entrants to create original Boards, as well as increase their chances of winning by participating in other entry methods to have Rafflecopter’s Random.org function, for example, to select their name. However, the most Rafflecopter (etc.) points will be given to the Pinterest Board entries. Ultimately, however, the winner is based on their Board.
 

Flash Facebook Comment Giveaways:

For simple comment giveaways on Facebook, of which Facebook is not affiliated with such giveaway, fans comment in the giveaway post and a winner will be selected using Random.org with the first comment being #1, and so forth, until the last comment. Metrowest Mamas has the right to discount or delete comments that do not follow the rules within the Flash Facebook Giveaway post. Unless otherwise stated, the Flash Facebook Comment Giveaway will be open for 24 hours from original time of posting. Winners will be declared using their Facebook name/profile within the post. Winners have the obligation of notifying Metrowest Mamas of their mailing address.
